School Improvement Plan 2024-2025

Priority 1: Leadership and Management

1.1. To continue to foster a robust approach to leadership throughout the school; from senior to middle and subject leaders.

1.2 To support an understanding of the pressures faced by staff and to always consider wellbeing and workload when decision making.

1.3 To continue to build a reflective Local Governing Body that provides support and challenge to drive school improvement.


Priority 2: Personal Development

2.1 To provide a platform to build self-esteem, independence, confidence and the skills to succeed in life in all children.

2.2 To continue to support the mental health and wellbeing of all children.


Priority 3: Behaviour and Attitudes

3.1 To continue to see a high % of attendance from all children.

Priority 4: Quality of Education

4.1 To improve outcomes in Reading for all Key Stage One children to bring data in line with local (72.9%) and national (71%) data.

4.2 To improve outcomes in Writing for all Key Stage One children to bring data in line with local (65.2%) and national (63%) data.

4.3 To improve outcomes in Mathematics for all Key Stage One children to bring data in line with local (74.3%) and national (72%) data.

4.4 To improve attainment outcomes in SPAG for all Key Stage Two children to bring data in line with local (71.6%) and national (72%) data.

4.5 To improve attainment outcomes in Reading for all Key Stage Two children to bring data in line with local (73.7%) and national (74%) data.

4.6 To improve attainment outcomes in Mathematics for all Key Stage Two children to bring data in line with local (73.7%) and national (73%) data.

4.7 To improve attainment outcomes in Writing for all Key Stage Two children to bring data in line with local (72.1%) and national (72%) data.


Priority 5: Early Years

5.1 To improve outcomes for all Foundation Stage children and to increase the % of GLD from 59.6% (2023-2024) to at least 67% bringing outcomes in line with local and national data.

5.2 To improve outcomes for children in word recognition and writing to meet local and national data expectations.

5.3 To improve the physical and working environment of the early years provision.
